Turkish president informed about explosion on military plant

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has received information from Defense Minister Yasar Guler regarding the explosion at the missile factory, Report informs via the Yeni Safak newspaper.

"President Erdogan made a phone call to Yasar Guler, minister of national defense, and received information about the explosion," the newspaper reports.

On his part, Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc said on Twitter that investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of the incident.

The explosion at a factory manufacturing missiles and explosive substances, MKE, in Ankara on Saturday morning claimed five lives.
