Turkish deputies decided to suspend the work of the parliament following the devastating earthquake in the country.
Report informs via Turkish media that the deputy head of the faction of the ruling Justice and Development Party, Mustafa Elitas said the decision was made unanimously in connection with the tragedy.
"The parties sitting in parliament unanimously decided to suspend the meetings of the general assembly of parliament for one week in connection with the catastrophe - a powerful earthquake," he said.
According to him, the work of the parliament was suspended for a week.
