Turkish interior minister: Erdogan successfully ‘drives the ship in rough seas’

Erdogan successfully “drives the ship in rough seas”, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said in a meeting with public representatives, Report informs.

According to him, once there was no petrol for police cars in Türkiye, but now the situation has changed: “Now we have everything, including drones. We have overcome great difficulties. We did not surrender to the July 15 coup attempt. The United States was behind that coup attempt. They get furious when I say that. But we will fight until the US takes its eyes off Türkiye.”

Soylu said that Türkiye still has a lot of work to do: “Leaders like Recep Tayyip Erdogan are born once in a hundred years. He successfully drives the ship in rough seas. We will never find such a leader again.”

The minister stressed that Türkiye will produce domestic tanks and aircraft:

“We will do it. We just need people's support more than ever now.”
