Turkish intelligence neutralizes another PKK leader

Hulya Mercen, one of the leaders of the PKK terrorist group, was neutralized as a result of the operation carried out by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) in the Metina region of Iraq, Report informs via TRT Haber.

9 soldiers of the Turkish Armed Forces were martyred in that region of Iraq recently.

According to the information, Mercen took part in many terrorist attacks in Türkiye, especially in the Tunceli region, in 1991–2001.
