Turkish general: 649 terrorists were neutralized in the last three months

The border guards of Türkiye neutralized 649 terrorists in Syria as a result of the anti-terrorist operation carried out from August 15 to November 23, 2023, Selcuk Bayraktaroglu, Commander of the Land Forces, said, Report informs, citing the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
According to him, 606 of the neutralized terrorists were members of the PKK/YPG-PYD and 43 of ISIS.
The commander said that 1,048 illegal migrants, including 41 PKK members, 5 ISIS members, 2 Marxist-Leninist communists, and 162 FETO members, who wanted to enter Türkiye from Syria, were detained.
