Turkish FM, US Secretary of State discuss Russia-Ukraine war

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the latest situation in Syria and Gaza.
Fidan highlighted the need for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. He believes that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict must be resolved for regional peace.
The diplomats also exchanged views on the situation in Eastern Europe. They spoke about a possible peace between the parties.
The sides also explored other issues of mutual interest, as well as the development of mutual trade, including the defense industry.
