"We hoped for peace after the meeting of representatives of Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul," Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with Haber Global TV, Report informs.
"As they themselves said, the positions were getting closer. But suddenly, everything changed. The parties moved away from the table. A fair ceasefire should be achieved that ensures the territorial integrity of Ukraine. We support the territorial integrity of Ukraine. We have good relations with both sides. There are NATO members who want the war to continue," the minister said.
