Turkish court sentences Syrian citizen to 1,794 years in prison over act of terrorism in Istanbul

Ahlam Albashir, a Syrian citizen accused of committing a terrorist attack in Istanbul, Türkiye, was sentenced to 1,794 years in prison, Report informs with reference to TRT Haber.

It was said that she committed the terrorist act on the order of the PKK terrorist organization.

As reported, six people were killed and 99 injured as a result of the terrorist attack committed in Taksim Square in November 2022.
