Turkish coast guards rescue 283 migrants

The employees of the Coast Guard Command within the Ministry of Interior of the Turkish Republic rescued 283 illegal migrants as a result of a call about the danger of a boat sinking in the Kas district of Antalya province, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.
According to information, the boat was 180 km away from the coast of Kas. Turkish rescuers helped a boat carrying illegal migrants. They were transferred from the boat to the merchant ship. Four vessels of the Coast Guard Command were involved in the incident. The migrants were sent to Antalya.
It is not known which country they are citizens of.
