Turkish Coast Guard rescues over 15,000 migrants

The Turkish Coast Guard rescued 15,174 illegal migrants in 2021, Anadolu Agency reports referring to the Turkish Coast Guard Department, Report informs.
"The Turkish coast guard comes to the rescue of migrants, who are facing the threat of death in the Aegean and Mediterranean seas," the department said.
At the same time, the bodies of 15 dead migrants were delivered to the shore.
