The first meeting of the special representatives of Turkey and Armenia on the settlement of relations may take place in January 2022, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Thursday in an interview with 24 TV channel, Report informs.

"The date of their meeting has not yet been agreed upon, but it is expected that it will take place in January," the minister replied to a journalist's question about the date of the meeting of the special representatives of the two countries.

To remind, Ankara has appointed former Turkish Ambassador to the United States Serdar Kilic as the special envoy and Yerevan appointed Deputy Chairman of the Parliament Ruben Rubinyan to this position.
