Georgian Foreign Ministry has summoned Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Fatma Ceren Yazgan, Report's local bureau informs.
The ambassador's invitation to the Foreign Ministry was prompted by news that major Turkish banks have begun providing services in the occupied region of Abkhazia in Georgia.
Yazgan discussed the issue with the Foreign Ministry representatives: "Turkey supports Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty and can never agree to provide financial services in the occupied territories."
