Turkiye, US mull perspectives of financial cooperation

Turkish Minister of Finance and Treasury Nureddin Nebati held talks with US Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen on the Indonesian island of Bali, Report informs, citing Anadolu.

The meeting took place within the framework of the meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of the G20 countries.

The ministers discussed the prospects of financial cooperation between Ankara and Washington.

"We emphasized that it is essential to continue working steadily to fully realize the potential in our commercial relations and further enhance our mutual investments," Nebati wrote on Twitter.

According to him, the ministers also exchanged views on the problems faced by the global economy.

The parties emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation in the fight against terrorism and terrorist financing.
