Turkey starts using domestic TURKOVAC jab against COVID

Turkey has started vaccinations with the domestic TURKOVAC jab against COVID-19 in Istanbul, Report informs via TRT.
Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca was vaccinated with the Turkish coronavirus vaccine at Ankara City Hospital yesterday.
Koca called on the country’s residents to prefer the locally produced inactivated vaccine.
Earlier, the Turkish Ministry of Health approved the emergency use of TURKOVAC.
Mass production of the vaccine was organized in the southeastern province of Shanliurfa.
