Turkey simplifies rules for granting citizenship

Turkey has changed the rules for granting citizenship to foreigners, Report informs.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has signed the decision.
According to the document, the main provisions and criteria for obtaining Turkish citizenship are as follows:
1. Purchase of real estate starting from $250,000;
2. Depositing $500,000 to the bank;
3. Purchase of securities worth $500,000;
4. Receipt of government bonds in the amount of $500,000;
5. Acquisition of shares of investment funds worth $500,000;
6. Creating 50 jobs.
Those who comply with at least one of these provisions and criteria will automatically be granted Turkish citizenship.
