Tractor hits landmine in Armenian village, driver injured

In the village of Kirants (Guney) in Armenia's Tavush region, a tractor struck a landmine, leaving the driver wounded. The incident occurred during engineering work in the area, according to Report, which cites the Armenian media outlets.

According to a local resident, the exact nature of the work being carried out remains unclear. "I don't know what kind of work he was doing. He was probably going there accompanied by border guards. He was transferred to the Ijevan Medical Center, but we have no information about his health condition," the villager stated.

Garnik Danielyan, a member of parliament from the "Armenia" faction, confirmed the incident.
