Tokayev, Michel mull dynamics of developing EU-Kazakhstan cooperation

Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with European Council President Charles Michel on the sidelines of the summit 'Central Asia - European Union' in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
Report informs via Kazakh media that Tokayev stressed the priority nature of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the EU.
He said the agreement on enhanced partnership and cooperation between Kazakhstan and the EU marked the start of a new stage of a deeper interaction. Today, the European Union is a leading trade partner and biggest investor in Kazakhstan's economy.
On his part, Michel highly appreciated the growing dynamics of the EU-Kazakhstan cooperation. He stressed the need for joint work on the further development of interaction.
