Three service members killed in earthquake - Akar

Three service members have been killed in the earthquake in Turkiye, country's National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said, Report informs via Turkish media.

"Turkish armed forces continue work to determine the damage and losses. Unfortunately, three service members died, there are injuries," he said.

The 7.4-magnitude earthquake occurred at 04.17 am in the Kahramanmaras province in southern Turkiye. According to the recent data, 284 people died and 2,323 people were injured as a result.
