Three people detained over Batumi building collapse

Three men have been detained as part of an investigation into the collapse of a residential building in Batumi, Report informs, citing the Georgian Interior Ministry.
One of the detainees is the owner of an apartment on the first floor of the building. The investigation found that the apartment was undergoing renovation work, during which safety rules were grossly violated.
The detainees face from 2 to 10 years in prison.
