Term of member of Yerevan Council of Elders terminated prematurely

The term of Artur Ispiryan, a member of the Civil Contract faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders, was terminated prematurely.

Report informs that the relevant decision was made at the extraordinary meeting of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia held today.

The agenda of the meeting included the protocol sent by the mayor of Yerevan to the CEC on May 10 regarding the premature termination of Ispiryan's powers.

According to the CEC protocol, Kristine Vardanyan, representative of the Civil Contract party's proportional list, was registered as a new candidate.
