Iran expects Kyiv to refrain from discussing provocative topics in the media concerning the Islamic Republic, Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Nasser Kanaani said, according to Report.
"We hope that... Ukraine will refrain from discussing provocative and sensitive topics related to Iran in the media and will approach the relations of the two countries professionally," he said.
Kaani noted that Tehran and Kyiv have friendly relations, but due to the events in Ukraine and due to the fact that Kyiv was "influenced by the political approach and pressure of Western countries," the quality of Ukrainian-Iranian relations has decreased. He stressed that Tehran is interested in their normalization.
