Tehran announces resumption of talks on JCPOA

The session of the Joint Commission on JCPOA will take place in the Austrian capital, Vienna, on Friday. The parties to the format will resume negotiations after a hiatus, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri said, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.
The previous session of the joint commission on JCPOA on the level of political directors took place in Vienne on December 9. It was the second official meeting of the commission as part of the seventh round of talks.
The seventh round of talks on the resumption of the JCPOA started in Vienna in late November. The main topic was the lifting of US sanctions on Tehran.
JCPOA was concluded between Great Britain, Germany, China, Russia, the United States, France, and Iran in 2015.
