Talks between Erdogan and Pashinyan kick off in Istanbul

President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan have begun their meeting in Istanbul, Report informs, citing TRT.
The talks, held in a restricted format, are taking place at the Dolmabahce Palace.
Pashinyan arrived in Türkiye earlier on Friday at the invitation of President Erdogan. This marks his first official working visit to the country. His previous trip was in June 2023 to attend Erdogan's inauguration ceremony.
The Armenian prime minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Speaker of Parliament and Armenia's special representative for normalization with Türkiye, Ruben Rubinyan.
