Swine flu has started spreading again in Armenia, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan said at a briefing after the government meeting, Report informs.
According to her, although the situation related to the coronavirus has stabilized relatively, the cases of influenza infection are increasing.
The minister reminded that cases of influenza infections increase in winter, as always, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, this virus has receded into the background in the last two to three years:
"Unfortunately, the H1N1 (swine flu) strain is disseminating again. This is also quite dangerous."
She again called for the vaccination against influenza of children under 12 years of age and citizens with chronic diseases, recalling that vaccines also contain antibodies against H1N1.
