Students, professors evacuated from building of State Economic University in Yerevan

Students and professors have been evacuated from one of the buildings of the Armenian State Economic University in Yerevan, emergency services said.

Report informs via Sputnik Armenia that at around 10:00 am, the emergency services received the call that one of the students felt unwell and were notified of an unusual smell present in the building.

The rescuers and a team of chemists have been dispatched to the site.

A total of 400 students and 35 professors have been evacuated from the building before the rescuers arrived.
