“We’ll defend the truth in the face of the so-called Armenian genocide,” President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the meeting of the Advisory Council on April 22.
The processes around the next anniversary of the so-called Armenian genocide were also discussed at the meeting.
"We will continue to defend the truth against the lies of the so-called Armenian genocide and those who defend this slander," Erdogan said.
