Iran’s production of uranium enriched up to 60% has no credible peaceful purpose, Vedant Patel, principal deputy spokesperson for the US Department of State, said at a briefing, Report informs.

“We’ve seen those press reports about the rate of accumulation of uranium enriched – enriched up to 60%, but not going to comment on an IAEA report that has not been made public yet. I will also note, as you’ve heard us say before, that we’ve been clear that Iran’s production of uranium enriched up to 60% has no credible peaceful purpose,” he said.
