State banks of Turkiye refuse to work with Russia's Mir payment system

Three state-owned banks in Turkiye refused to use the Russian payment system Mir, Report informs via TASS.

Official sources have not yet confirmed this information.

Turkish NTV claims that the state-owned banks decided to exit the Russian payment system early September 27, but it has not yet been officially announced.

The cards of the Mir payment system were accepted in Turkiye by the state-owned banks Ziraat Bankasi, VakifBank and Halkbank.
