Shoigu: 'Direct involvement in confrontation between states with nuclear arsenals multiplies strategic risks'

The West is attempting to extend the conflict potential of the European crisis to the Asia-Pacific region, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said at the 10th Xiangshan Security Forum, Report informs, citing TASS.
"Having provoked an acute crisis in Europe, the West is seeking to spread the conflict potential to the Asia-Pacific region, and in several directions," he said.
He added that "direct involvement in the confrontation between states with nuclear arsenals multiplies strategic risks."
