Several villages completely destroyed in Ukraine’s Kherson region

Due to hostilities in the Kherson region of Ukraine, several villages were completely destroyed, Report informs citing the Facebook page of the Kherson regional military administration.

A critical situation has developed in hundreds of villages - roads, houses and schools were destroyed, fields and rivers were mined, fires in forests, civilians were injured and killed.

“Some villages have been without electricity and water for five months already, people have not received pensions and social benefits in such villages since March. People are forced to flee to the territory controlled by Ukraine or to neighboring villages. Therefore, there are communities where up to 10 people are left to live, and some villages are completely destroyed,” the statement said.

For two months the Kherson region remains without communication from Ukrainian mobile operators. Wired Internet works, but traffic goes through Russia, so most services are blocked and work only with VPN.
