Security Council of Ukraine warns about assassination plot against Volodymyr Zelenskyy

An assassination is being plotted against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of the country Oleksiy Danilov said, Report informs.

"On the Independence Day of Ukraine on August 24, Russian provocations against our country are possible. They always do provocations. We are ahead of these plans. We know almost all the other side's plans," he said.

Danilov added that all processes might not be under control: "But this is normal in war. Specialists are constantly working to discover the enemy's plans and give them a proper response."
