SCO Secretary General expresses concern about chopper incident in Iran

Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Zhang Ming expressed concern about the incident with the helicopter of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Report informs via TASS.
Zhang Ming, who is in Astana to participate in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO member states, discussed the crash of Raisi’s helicopter in a telephone conversation with Iranian Ambassador to China Mohsen Bakhtiyor.
On May 19, a helicopter carrying the Iranian president crashed near the Iran-Azerbaijan border. Also on board were the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Islamic Republic, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and several other Iranians. All those on board have died.
