All schoolchildren in Kyrgyzstan will study remotely from December 13 due to severe frosts and the worsening epidemiological situation, according to the Ministry of Education and Science, Report informs referring to local media.
It is not yet clear exactly how many days remote learning will last in certain regions.
Last night the air temperature in Bishkek was -22C, and many Internet applications showed up to -29C. From December 12 to 14 it will become even colder; in some regions at night the mercury will drop to -28C and even -36C.
