Salome Zourabichvili to run for second presidency term

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has announced her readiness to run for a second term so that the country can "return to the European path," Report informs via Izvestiya.

"I am ready to take on greater responsibility, including running for a second term so that Georgia can return to the European path. If the charter I proposed (an action plan for the opposition in case of winning the elections. — Ed.) works, I am ready to be a negotiator with our European partners," Zourabichvili said in an interview with Le Figaro on Tuesday.
