Russian troops have entered the town of Oleshky in the Kherson oblast of Ukraine, town mayor Yevhen Ryshchuk said in a video address on Facebook.
Report informs, citing UNIAN, that the mayor said Russian troops are now being settled in Oleshky.
"In general, nothing terrible is happening now; they are now settling in the city. We don't know their position. They told us: 'Maintain order, as you previously did; we will have nothing to do with you now.' Our patrol continues to work; we continue to work, we take out the garbage, we bake bread, we work regardless of what happens in the city," Ryshchuk said.
