Russian total assets frozen by EU amount to €207B

Since the start of the Ukraine war, the European Union has frozen €207 billion in Russian assets, EU Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders said on a press conference in The Hague, Report informs.
According to him, the European Commission is considering the possibility of using the proceeds from the Russian assets worth 207 billion euros frozen in Europe, including the assets of the Russian Central Bank, to finance the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Reynders confirmed that the European Commission expects to receive up to 3 billion euros a year in this way.
