Russian speaker to visit Tehran

Speaker of Russia’s State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin will soon visit Tehran, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Iranian Parliament Mahmoud Sadeghian said, Report informs.

Details of the visit have not yet been released.

“There is a program for the forthcoming visit of Speaker of the Russian Parliament Vyacheslav Volodin to Iran in the near future, but the exact date has not yet been determined,” he noted.

Earlier it was reported that Volodin plans to go to Iran in January and meet there with President of the Republic, Ebrahim Raisi. To prepare their meeting, Iran was visited by the leader of the United Russia party in the State Duma, Vladimir Vasiliev.
