Russian MP: Azerbaijan turned page of restoring historical justice

The page that Azerbaijan turned over two years ago was the page of restoration of historical justice, this page that was watered with abundant blood, deputy of the State Duma (lower house of the parliament) of Russia Oleg Shein said, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

The deputy spoke about the lessons that modernity teaches: “The lessons of modernity speak about the significance of peace, that if you are friendly with your neighbors, if you value them, you are in harmony with them, then you take the right position, because confrontation entails a strategic to the detriment of his own country, and I think that the history of the Transcaucasus clearly confirms this,” he stressed.

Shein appreciated the restoration of the territory of Karabakh destroyed by the Armenian side: “I was in Karabakh at the invitation of the ambassador and saw the colossal destruction that occurred. I could appreciate the huge work and the incredible pace that Azerbaijan is making today to restore infrastructure and roads so that people can return to their homes as soon as possible. I wish that the restoration of a peaceful life in Karabakh happens as soon as possible,” the deputy concluded.
