Russian MFA warns against Western influence on Armenian media

The increasing influence of Western powers on Armenian media will not lead to anything beneficial for the region, Deputy Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Information and Press Department Andrey Nastasin said at a briefing, Report informs.

“The US and the EU are opportunistically trying to sway Armenian public opinion against Russia. They aim to undermine the long-standing Russian-Armenian friendship and diminish Moscow’s support for Yerevan across various spheres,” Nastasin stated.
