Russian MFA hopes Armenia will not leave EEU because of US

Moscow hopes that Yerevan will not abandon the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) only because of the US and the EU, which promise investments and a "bright future", Mikael Agasandyan, the Director of the First Department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told local press, Report informs.

Agasandyan said that relations between Moscow and Yerevan within the framework of the EEU are based on mutually beneficial cooperation: "You don't need to be an expert in economics or politics to observe the obvious. As a result of this, the rate of economic growth in Armenia shows serious positive indicators. This is a dynamic that few people can boast of."
