Russian Lukoil’s oil refinery stops working after drone attack

The Lukoil oil refinery in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia has ceased operations following an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Report informs citing Kommersant.
On March 12, a fire broke out in the facility’s primary oil processing unit of largest oil refinery of Lukoil due to a UAV attack.
Lukoil has declined to issue a statement regarding the event.
Additional reports indicate that drone attacks also occurred in the Oryol, Kursk, Voronezh, Tula, and Belgorod regions. Furthermore, Sergey Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow, disclosed that drones en route to Moscow were intercepted and neutralized.
