Russian, Iranian defense ministers mull military-technical co-op

Military and military-technical cooperation was discussed by Defense Ministers of Russia and Iran Sergey Shoigu and Mohammad-Reza Gharaei Ashtiani during a telephone conversation, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, Report informs referring to Russian media.
“Russian Defense Minister, Army General Sergey Shoigu noted that Moscow and Tehran are consistently increasing joint efforts in the interests of building a truly equal multipolar world,” the ministry noted.
It is noted that during the negotiations an exchange of views on regional security issues also took place.
