Russian Investigative Committee: Crocus terror attack caused nearly $75M in damage

The damage caused by the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow Oblast, Russia, is estimated at 6 billion Russian rubles (approximately $75 million), according to the Russian Investigative Committee, Report informs via Russian media outlets.
"The total damage caused by the terrorist attack on Crocus amounts to approximately 6 billion rubles," Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the Investigative Committee, said at the 13th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum.
On March 22, 2024, several men opened fire on visitors and employees before a concert by the rock group Piknik at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk. A fire broke out in the building. As a result, more than 140 people died. A total of 1,700 people have been recognized as victims.
