Russian Foreign Ministry: Rhetoric on verge of rudeness does no credit to politicians of Armenia

The rhetoric ‘on the verge of rudeness’ does no credit to the politicians of Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a briefing, commenting on the statement of Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

“Public rhetoric on the verge of something already similar to rudeness simply does no honor to the political figures of Armenia representing Yerevan,” Zakharova said.

She added that Moscow has also already asked the Armenian side for clarification on sending the Rome Statute for ratification to the country’s parliament and will decide on further steps based on Yerevan’s response.
