Russian FM to visit Thailand

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Thailand on July 15, where he will open the Russian Consulate General in Phuket, Report informs referring to Russian media citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"On July 15, the Russian foreign minister will visit the Kingdom of Thailand and hold talks in Phuket with Acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of this country Don Pramudwinai," the statement said.

The parties plan to discuss bilateral relations, prospects for building up trade, economic and investment ties, expanding cooperation in the field of culture and tourism, as well as international and regional issues, ways to deepen cooperation on multilateral platforms.
