Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov plans to visit the occupied Donbas region of Ukraine.
Report informs with reference to the Russia 1 TV channel that the FM said in an interview with SolovyovLive.
According to him, representations of the Russian MFA in Lugansk and Donetsk are open, and new representations will be created in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions: "I want to go there and talk with the employees of our representative offices. I want to see their needs."
To note that a significant part of the Donbas region, which mainly includes the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine, has been under the occupation of pro-Russian separatists since 2014 and officially under the occupation of the Russian Armed Forces since 2022.
