Russian diplomats have begun to leave Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source, according to Report.
"According to statements of Ukrainian citizens, Russian diplomats and consular employees in Ukraine began to leave for Russia. This, in particular, is evidenced by the difficulties encountered when making an appointment with the consulate and the embassy," the agency's source confirmed.
In his opinion, against the backdrop of the withdrawal of diplomats of some Western countries from the country, "this suggests that Moscow has decided to follow the suit".
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov allowed the temporary evacuation of Russian diplomats.
