“The Consulate General registers cases of denial of entry into Georgia almost daily,” the Russian diplomatic mission noted. At the same time, as emphasized in the Consulate General, “the reasons for such a refusal are not explained.”
According to diplomats' observations, residents of the Crimea and the regions of the North Caucasian Federal District, as well as citizens of the so-called "DPR" or "LPR" who also have Russian citizenship, are most often not allowed into the territory of the republic, but often the list of those who received a rejection includes Russian citizens living in other regions of the Russian Federation who arrived in Turkiye by private car.
