Russian Defense Ministry: Work on final document regarding grain issue to be completed soon

The participants in the consultations on the grain issue - Turkiye, Ukraine, Russia, and the UN - basically supported the proposals put forward, Russian Defense Ministry Spokesperson Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov said in a statement.

Report informs, citing Russian media, that according to Konashenkov, in the near future, the work on the final document will be completed.

According to him, the Russian side has proposed measures that ensure the transportation of agricultural products by foreign countries while excluding the use of Ukrainian ports for provocations, as well as the supply of weapons and military equipment to Kyiv.

Negotiations between the military delegations of Turkiye, Russia, Ukraine, and the UN delegation on the "grain issue" were held in Istanbul and ended on Wednesday. According to the source, all parties showed high constructiveness; the proposals were aimed at finding a solution.

According to preliminary data, the next meeting will be held on July 20-21, to be coordinated through diplomatic channels.
