Russian defense minister threatens Ukraine with using cluster bombs

The Russian Armed Forces can use cluster bombs in Ukraine, Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, told the International Security Conference held in Moscow, Report informs via TASS.

Shoigu said that the violation of international humanitarian law and norms by Ukraine made it urgent for Russia to reconsider the decision on the use of cluster bombs.

“We have cluster bombs too. Until now, we have refrained from using them for humanitarian reasons. However, this decision may be reconsidered,” Shoigu said.
